Taarit
Taarit is a “full-stack rescue system” venture which addresses everything from software and hardware to telephony systems, ambulance drivers and paramedics. In addition to ensuring a seamless end-to-end emergency medical service network within golden hour, we also claim to help drivers in car breakdown and other all possible circumstances.
Working on a project with a team can be an enriching experience that not only helps in developing new skills but also fosters a sense of teamwork and collaboration. The project we worked on was an accident detection model that aimed to detect accidents in real-time and alert the authorities, helping to reduce response time and potentially save lives.
Our workflow for the project started with defining the project goals and requirements. We brainstormed ideas and discussed what we wanted to achieve with the project. We wanted to create a model that could detect accidents accurately and quickly, and we also wanted to make sure that it could be easily deployed and used by the authorities.
After defining the project goals, we started gathering and analyzing data. We researched different types of sensors and cameras that could be used for accident detection and looked at different datasets that we could use for training our model. We also looked at previous research and models that had been developed for accident detection and used that as a reference for our own work.
Once we had gathered and analyzed the data, we started selecting appropriate tools and technologies. We decided to use Python as our primary programming language and used TensorFlow and Keras for developing and training the model. We also used OpenCV for image processing and analysis. With the tools and technologies selected, we started developing and testing the model. We started with a simple prototype and gradually added more complexity as we fine-tuned the model. We ran multiple tests and experiments to ensure that the model was accurate and reliable. After developing and testing the model, we fine-tuned and evaluated its performance. We used different evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, and recall to measure the model's performance. We also looked at different scenarios and tested the model under different conditions to ensure that it could perform well in real-world situations. Finally, we deployed the model and started monitoring its usage. We worked with the authorities to ensure that they were comfortable using the model and that they understood how it worked. We also made sure that the model was regularly updated and maintained to ensure its continued accuracy and reliability. Working on this project was a great learning experience for all of us. We learned new programming languages and tools, improved our teamwork and collaboration skills, and gained valuable experience in developing and deploying machine learning models. We also felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that our work could potentially help save lives and make our communities safer. Overall, it was a challenging but rewarding experience that we all enjoyed.
